First of all she is the most beautiful ship that I saw when I was shopping around in Cartagena, and since i am in to sailing the fact that she is a custom built luxury cruiser from 1967 with teak deck and wooden interior made her my front runner!
Then the crew- Jorge- who was a great guy! Hilarious, a great cook and a good guide for reefs, snorkeling, fishing or rum drinking and storytelling! We were 4 guys and a girl on our trip and we ate very well 4 or 5 times a day, hunted lionfish at the reefs and seashells to eat!
I was allowed to help with sailing, taking watches whenever I felt like it and understand the navigationsystem!
He has 3 different compasses, satellite navigation system, life vests, life raft, two different devices to handle man over board and satelite emergency system EPIRB, and solid sailing skills so I never felt the least bit unsafe!
He is a kind person with many stories to tell and will take care of you, he asked us every day what we wanted to do, if we preferred snorekelling, beach or a party island. – NOVEMBER 2011
